Bush shows off lameduck feathers

For President Bush, being in the politically
weakened position he found himself in after last year’s congressional
elections, on top of being a lame duck, means being challenged
seemingly at every turn.
He finds himself now in a vicious loop that just reinforces perceptions of his weakness.
